A team from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue is involved in search and rescue efforts abroad. They were sent to Venezuela after earthquakes hit the area. The team, known as Florida Task Force One, has 80 members and is working with other international teams.

They are operating in a town called Playa Grande, which is located in La Guaira. Further information about their mission can be found through Community Newspapers, which reported on the deployment under US coordination.
