Miami International Airport has seen a decline in passengers. The total number of people using the airport for the first half of the year is 28,342,806. This represents a decrease from the same period last year.

Most of the decline came from domestic travel, with international passengers also experiencing a slight drop. The decrease was more pronounced in June. In contrast, air cargo at the airport has increased significantly, with a double-digit gain in the first six months of the year.
