A housekeeper has been arrested for allegedly stealing jewelry from her employer. The accused, 48-year-old Yuleidy Diaz, had worked for the victim for over a decade before the thefts were discovered. The missing items included watches, necklaces, and other jewelry, with a total value of over $36,000.

Detectives used pawn shop records to determine that Diaz had pawned 73 items between 2018 and 2025. The victim identified at least 32 of these items as her own property. Further details of the case are available, including the investigation and arrest report.
