Some local students have been given a unique opportunity related to the FIFA World Cup. A group of students from Miami-Dade County Public Schools were chosen to be official player escorts for a match. The students, who attend Earlington Heights Elementary in Northwest Miami-Dade, got to try on their official uniforms.

They also had a chance to wave flags representing the teams playing in the match, Norway and England. Further details about this experience are available from WSVN 7 News, including the specifics of the match the students were involved with, which was a quarterfinal game between Norway and England.
