A pink fire rescue truck is being used to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The truck features a custom design by artist Romero Britto. This design honors Kristin Jordahl, who worked with fire rescue for nearly 20 years and lost her battle with breast cancer.

Jordahl had discovered her cancer through a self-exam and fought it for 12 years before passing away at age 48. The truck will be touring for 30 days to share Jordahl's story and encourage early detection. The goal is to promote preventative care and screenings.

Further details about the campaign are available from the source.
