Temperatures in South Florida have been high. A record high was reached in Miami. Cloud cover is moving into the area from a disturbance.
This is being monitored by the National Hurricane Center. The heat has been intense this week. Some relief came with showers and storms.
These helped to cool things down. The rain may have also helped with wildfires in West Broward. Today is expected to be steamy.
However, temperatures may not be as high as earlier in the week. Drier air is a factor in this. Further information is available from WSVN 7 News.
